Junior Parents
The ring ceremony is Friday, December 19th. You are
welcome to attend if you wish to. The ceremony begins about 9:05 and
is followed by a Christmas party/breakfast which will end about
10:00. School continues for the students as normal for the rest of
the day. Dismissal at 2:30 or 3:00 will be determined this Friday.

Uniform Approved
The Junior class is selling Lutheran North fleece pullovers as
a way to raise money for their class. These pullovers can be worn at
school and in the classroom. Please consider buying one as a gift or
get some for the whole family to show your support of Lutheran High
North in our community! Orders are due by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12th
with payment. The cost is $40.00 and sizes S - XXL are available.
Orders received by this Friday should be delivered by Friday,
December 19th (in time for Christmas!).

Jazz Band
The LHN Jazz Band's will preform in the "Lights
in the Heights" event Saturday night December 13, from
approximately 6-10pm, on the front porch of Stephen Schoppe at 902
Woodland at the corner of Julian.
Will be a great time for
all. Come out and hear our band and other great musicians filled with
Christmas cheer. |

 Project Prom is a PTL sponsored activity which
provides a safe and fun place for the juniors and seniors of LHN and
their dates to go after the festivities of prom. Dave and Busters has
been chosen for this year's project prom, and in order to keep the
students' cost down, we are looking for help from the parents of LHN.
If you would like to make a donation to PTL for project prom, please
place it in an envelope marked "Project Prom" and drop it
off in the office. Remember, any donations made before January can be
used as a tax write-off for this year. (Make checks payable to LHN
PTL and earmark it for project prom.) Thank you for your help.

Benefiting LHN Basketball
The Varsity boys basketball team will be hosting a 3
on 3 tournament on Saturday, December 13, at Lutheran High North.
This is a fundraiser that will help offset the cost of the the trip
the boys will take to Phoenix AZ. to play in a tournament on December
19- 21. So get your team together, young and old, all are welcome.
Prizes will be awarded.

 Swimming
The swimming Lions were busy last week, competing in both a dual meet
with Waltrip High School and the Brazosport Invitational Swim Meet.
At the Waltrip meet, a new LHN school record was set in the girls'
400 freestyle relay in the time of 5:24.68 by the team of Allison
Chambers, Alicia Hester, Madison Cooper and Brittany Morgan. David
Bodden also broke an individual LHN school record in the boys'
100 freestyle with a time 57.91. At the Brazosport
Invitational, both Brittany Morgan and David Bodden placed and scored
points in two individual events each, and the relay team of Allison
Chambers, Alicia Hester, Madison Cooper, and Brittany Morgan also
placed and scored points in the girls' 200 freestyle relay. Most
notable was Brittany Morgan's 1st place finish in the girls' 500
freestyle, and David Bodden's 3rd place finish in the boys'
100 breastroke, which was also a new LHN school record time of 1:10.95.
The swim team travels to Athens, Texas this weekend to compete in the
Athens Invitational.
