After completing his undergraduate degree, Anthony worked as an Operations Administrator for the largest paving and concrete restoration company in Chicago. He also was an assistant baseball coach for his High School alma mater, Nazareth Academy in Lagrange Park, IL. Anthony and his wife, Blythe, moved overseas to work for a Lutheran school in Martin, Slovakia. In Slovakia, Anthony taught English Literature, Social Studies, Math, and Science. He also coordinated athletic activities and events for the K-12 academy. While in Slovakia, he coached the Slovak national baseball team in 4 different age categories (15U, 18U, 23U, and Men). Additionally, he worked for one of the only baseball bat manufacturers in Europe, Yaya Baseball, as a sales and marketing coordinator. In 2018, Anthony began working at Lutheran High North as the Athletic Director and Technology teacher. In 2019, he became a full-time administrator as the Dean of Students and Athletic Director. In 2021, Anthony took on the role of Director of Athletics and Advancement, playing a larger role in fundraising and development of the school's mission and vision. 


Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Anthony played baseball at the catcher position for Concordia University Chicago and played professionally overseas for BK Apollo Bratislava in Euro Interleague Baseball. He completed his Masters of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in the spring of 2021. Anthony loves to travel, having been to 30 countries in 5 different continents. Married to Blythe Barreto and new father of Zoya Marie.
