Mrs. Blythe Barreto » Bio


Mrs. Barreto has been serving as College Counselor at LHN since 2018, while also teaching World Religions, Apologetics, Doctrine, and Ethics in our Theology Department.


Her previous professional experience includes 4 years teaching and acting as “International Communications Director” for the Center for Christian Education in Martin, Slovakia.


She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree from the Director of Christian Education program at Concordia University Chicago, where she also completed her Masters in Arts & Religion with a thesis on “Lutheran Education under Communism,” a subject she has published numerous articles discussing, including an international podcast.


Mrs. Barreto also holds a Texas Teaching Certification in Social Studies and attended classes at Westfield House, a Cambridge University affiliate in the UK.


She has traveled to almost 40 countries and in her free time she enjoys reading and going on walks with her husband, Anthony, and daughter, Zoya Marie.
