For all levels, these test scores are used as a resource for us to best serve our students. Lutheran High North does not base the admission decision solely on the test, but it is one facet taken into consideration in the admission process.

- Testing with Accommodations
Students applying to Lutheran High North must submit an ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) test score to complete their application. Students may register to take the ISEE test at any location but must request Lutheran High North to receive test scores.
Lutheran High North administers the ISEE test on campus on these dates:
- November 10, 2018 (online)
- December 8, 2018 (online)
- January 12, 2019 (online)
- January 26, 2019 (online)
- February 2, 2019 (online)
- February 9, 2019 (online)
If online registration is closed via the ISEE registration website, please contact the Admissions Office for an invitation to a specific test date. You must receive an invitation to register after the deadline. Walk-in testing the day of the scheduled test is not available.
The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination) is a national standardized test held at sites throughout the Houston area at an additional cost above the application fee. Parents are responsible for all registration and payment directly through the ISEE organization. For more information, call ISEE at 1-800-446-0320. You may register online by clicking the button below; the Lutheran High North test site code is 447643.
Frantic, last-minute "cramming" for the test is not helpful. Students should listen very carefully to the test administrator's instructions. They should keep in mind that no one is expected to answer every question correctly. Students in a lower grade taking the same test as students in a higher grade are expected to obtain fewer correct answers. Remember, a student’s test performance is compared only to the performance of students at his or her grade level.
Students should not spend too much time on any one question; it is better to move on to the next question as omitted questions can be returned to within a given test section if time permits. Students should also remember to select the best choice for each question and attempt to answer every question as there are no penalties for incorrect answers.
A student's ISEE Individual Student Report will not be sent to schools in cases where there is clear evidence of communication with other students during the test, using materials or objects not allowed in the testing room (including cell phones), testing irregularities such as working in a section of the test after time is called or before permission to do so is given, questions surrounding a student’s identity, or disruptive behavior of any kind.
Acceptance information will be emailed and hard copies mailed to students that have completed the application process, have been interviewed, and have been accepted into Lutheran High North for the 2019-2020 school year.
