Lutheran High North Concert Choir

“Shout with joy to God, all the earth!  Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious!”  Psalm 66:1-2

The Lutheran High North Concert Choir consists of students with various degrees of musical knowledge and experience. The Choir is a place where anyone can join and add their voice in the praise of our Lord.

The Concert Choir meets on Red Days, second period and sings throughout the year. The Choir is frequently asked to sing at public events, church services, and other opportunities.

The Concert Choir sings a variety of varying musical styles and genres and enjoys sharing these with their audience. The Choir is open to anyone wishing to sing. In choir, the student will learn how to read a musical score, learn musical terminology, learn proper singing techniques and most of all, learn how to use the gift of their voice in proclaiming the Gospel through music.

The Concert Choir annually competes in TAPPS competition and has regularly received high ratings, both in solo and small ensemble as well as the whole choir. There are many opportunities for small groups within the choir to sing together as well as soloists to learn and perform.

It’s a GREAT day to be and SING as a LION!!
